1. Data we collect
We may collect account and contact information; creator profile details such as name, username, date of birth or eligibility information, location, languages, skills and categories; social profile URLs and audience information; device, IP, login, OTP and security data; task, assignment, submission and review records; support communications; notification preferences; and withdrawal, tax or verification information when those features are enabled.
2. How we use data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, verify identity and eligibility, match creators with tasks, operate submissions and reviews, calculate and process rewards, communicate service and security updates, prevent abuse, provide support, comply with law, and improve Clippay. We do not sell personal data.
3. Legal basis and consent
Where applicable, processing occurs to provide the service you request, comply with law, protect legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, or with your consent. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, although this does not affect earlier lawful processing.
4. Sharing
We may share limited data with brands and authorized campaign managers when needed for a task; infrastructure, email, analytics, storage, notification, verification and payment providers acting under appropriate terms; professional advisers; and government or law-enforcement bodies when legally required. We limit access to what is reasonably necessary.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute and fraud-prevention obligations, and enforce agreements. Security, audit, payment, task and submission records may be retained longer than an active profile. Data is deleted or de-identified when no longer required.
6. Security
Clippay uses access controls, encryption in transit, hashed OTPs, expiry and attempt controls, server-side authorization, and monitoring. No method is completely secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, and never share a verification code.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating or erasure; withdraw consent; manage communications; and raise a grievance. We may verify your identity and retain information where law or legitimate claims require it.
8. Children
Clippay is not intended for persons who cannot lawfully enter the required creator arrangement. Age requirements will be stated during onboarding. Where required, verifiable parental or guardian consent and additional safeguards apply.
9. International processing
Service providers may process data outside your state or country. We use appropriate contractual and security measures and follow applicable transfer restrictions.
10. Cookies and analytics
We may use essential storage for sessions and security, and optional analytics to understand product use. Where consent is required, optional technologies will not be activated before that choice. Browser settings can also control cookies.
11. Changes and contact
